Emaar Properties said in its quarterly results that the company achieved property sales of Dh22.4 billion in the three months ended March 31 2026, a 16 percent increase compared with the same period in 2025. Its development subsidiary contributed Dh20.1 billion of that total, up 22 percent year on year, while overall group revenue rose 23 percent to Dh12.4 billion. Net profit climbed 36 percent to nearly Dh3.5 billion and the revenue backlog expanded to Dh163.4 billion by the end of the quarter, Emaar added in the disclosure. The company also declared a dividend of Dh8.9 billion representing a 100 percent payout.

The results release noted that Emaar launched 10 new residential projects across its master-planned communities during the quarter to capitalise on buyer interest in both established and emerging areas. Mohamed Alabbar said the performance reflects UAE economy stability despite regional volatility. Emaar’s focus on diversified offerings including residential, commercial and leisure developments has supported its growth trajectory through varying market cycles.

Arabian Business reported that Dubai’s real estate sector generated AED286.43 billion in sales across 79,229 transactions in the first half of 2026, with more than 67,000 units changing hands. The half-year total reflected continued appetite from local, regional and international buyers even as external factors influenced sentiment at times. Such volumes have built on steady expansion seen in prior years within the emirate’s property market.

An IMARC Group assessment found that Emaar Properties together with Aldar, DAMAC and Nakheel accounted for an estimated 45 to 50 percent of primary residential sales revenue in the UAE last year. The concentration among leading developers has enabled consistent supply of new inventory calibrated to demand patterns. Emaar’s track record of delivery in landmark districts such as Downtown Dubai and Dubai Hills Estate has reinforced its standing with investors.

Industry compilations placed Emaar’s full-year property sales at AED80.4 billion in 2025, a benchmark the current pace appears capable of exceeding. First-quarter revenue and profit growth outstripped the sales increase, indicating improved operational margins according to the earnings breakdown. The company’s recurring-income businesses in retail, hospitality and leisure provided a stable complement to its development activity throughout the period.

Emaar’s statement highlighted that the enlarged backlog of Dh163.4 billion offers substantial visibility on future revenue recognition over the coming years. This figure marked a 35 percent rise from the comparable point in 2025 and incorporates commitments from both local and overseas purchasers. The developer maintains an active pipeline that spans multiple asset classes across the UAE and selected international markets.
