Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi has rolled out a fresh calendar for its winter season running from October 2026 through April 2027, with weekly markets, cinema screenings and interactive experiences at its core. The announcement outlines more than 60 local vendors at the refreshed Park Market held every Friday and Saturday near the Children’s Garden, offering food, crafts and entertainment for families. A new mental health initiative called Halek will launch on the opening weekend to raise awareness around postpartum depression while wellness activities organised with Celestial Karisma will include free yoga classes, sound healing and full moon ceremonies under the Nature Meets Mindfulness theme.

Cinema in the Park returns with family films shown under the stars each weekend at 6pm alongside Cinematic Sundays presented in collaboration with Image Nation. The Animal Barn pop-up allows visitors to meet animals with feeding sessions available for 10 dirhams and pony or camel rides for 15 dirhams. Daily Sunset Falcon Shows from 5pm to 6pm will highlight Emirati heritage with opportunities to interact with trainers while BOUNCE will provide freestyle jumping and interactive sessions led by the Vibe Tribe until February.

Educational tours for school groups will continue throughout the season, incorporating animal interactions, sustainability workshops and lessons on Sheikh Zayed’s environmental legacy, the park stated in its announcement distributed by the Emirates News Agency. These programmes follow the previous season in which the park hosted more than 110 school visits that engaged over 6,000 students in topics ranging from nature to community awareness. Park figures from that period also recorded more than 620 free family and community-focused activities delivered across various events.

The 2025-2026 season concluded after attracting more than 410,000 visitors from over 80 nationalities, reinforcing the park’s status as a leading family destination in the capital. Its fifth edition of the Park Market featured 172 vendors including 65 Emirati participants while Festival in the Park organised with the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation drew more than 21,800 attendees. Community walks such as the Proud of UAE event and the National Parade Walk in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Athletics Club brought together over 300 participants each with the combined Proud of UAE initiatives engaging more than 500 people through collaboration with Salayel Hospitality and Wasael Property Management.

Additional cultural highlights from the prior year included The Cove, The Rage, Miami Vibes, the Korea Festival hosted by the Korean Cultural Center and the Tolerance Festival during which a Ghaf tree was planted at the Tolerance Garden to commemorate the park’s 10th anniversary. These events aligned with national themes of community and family while supporting local small and medium enterprises through dedicated platforms. The new season maintains this focus by providing accessible outdoor experiences that integrate learning, heritage and recreation across the park’s venues.

The announcement encourages residents to participate in the varied schedule with further details available through the park’s digital channels. Organisers have emphasised consistent programming to sustain high levels of community involvement observed in recent years. School groups and families can book educational tours directly as the season unfolds.
