Emaar Properties reported revenue of AED 23.9 billion in the first half of the year, marking a 21 percent increase from the same period last year, according to a statement issued by the company. The Dubai-based developer also recorded a net profit of AED 5.1 billion, up 18 percent year on year, driven by strong demand for residential units and growth in its malls and hospitality businesses. The figures reflect continued momentum in the UAE property market, where Emaar has several flagship projects underway.

In the announcement on its newsroom, Emaar said sales from its development business reached new records, with commitments from projects such as Emaar Beachfront and Downtown Dubai contributing significantly to the topline growth. The company’s hospitality division posted double-digit revenue increases, supported by higher occupancy rates at properties including the Address and Vida hotels. Retail operations at The Dubai Mall and other assets also delivered solid performance amid rising visitor numbers.

Emaar maintains a substantial development pipeline across the UAE and selected international markets, the company said in the statement. This pipeline includes mixed-use communities that integrate residential, commercial and leisure components, positioning the firm to capture ongoing demand from both local and expatriate buyers. The developer highlighted its focus on delivering high-quality assets while expanding its recurring revenue streams from malls, hotels and leisure attractions.

The first-half results come as the broader UAE real estate sector continues to attract investment, with official data from the Dubai Land Department showing sustained transaction volumes in residential sales. Emaar’s performance aligns with this trend, as the company has consistently ranked among the top developers by sales value. Its diversified business model, spanning property development, retail, hospitality and entertainment, has helped buffer against cyclical fluctuations in any single segment.

Looking ahead, Emaar plans to accelerate handover schedules for several ongoing projects to meet buyer expectations, the statement noted. The company also reiterated its commitment to sustainable development practices across all new communities. These initiatives are expected to support long-term value creation for shareholders while contributing to Dubai’s growth as a global destination.
