The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy launched its annual summer camp under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan serves as chairwoman of the academy’s board of directors and provided guidance for the initiative. The programme runs from July 13 to August 6 2026 at the academy headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The academy designed the camp to encourage development of young talent while promoting physical social and creative growth.

According to the academy the camp is open to girls aged 3 to 14 years and boys aged 3 to 10 years. Participants engage in basketball football volleyball karate martial arts and zumba. The schedule incorporates entertainment programmes educational workshops and additional cultural activities. Qualified instructors conduct all sessions in a safe family-friendly setting that supports skill building and enjoyment.

The academy structured the camp with daily sessions from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration options include weekly bi-weekly and full-period packages to accommodate varying family schedules. This approach allows maximum flexibility during the summer break. The academy reported that the format balances structured activities with opportunities for teamwork and recreation.

The academy’s announcement described the initiative as continuing its strategic mission to nurture a generation that is active confident and prepared for future opportunities. The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy website states that the organisation is dedicated to promoting women’s sports in the UAE and hosts numerous local regional and international events each year. Prior editions of the summer camp have followed the same model of combining athletic training with supplementary programmes. The 2026 edition maintains this approach at the newly referenced headquarters location.

Abu Dhabi Media Office coverage of the academy highlights its role in youth empowerment through foundational sports experiences. The camp forms part of a series of year-round activities organised by the institution under the same patronage and guidance. Similar programmes in past years have drawn participation from families across the emirate. The academy positions the current offering as an extension of those established efforts.

The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood which operates under the patronage framework has supported aligned initiatives that emphasise family development and youth engagement. The academy integrates cultural programmes to complement core sports training and foster holistic growth. Daily operations remain anchored at the Abu Dhabi facility throughout the duration. The programme concludes on August 6 2026 according to the published schedule.
