ADGM Academy’s annual report for 2025 detailed its work training 2,244 UAE nationals across a range of specialised programmes in finance, technology and entrepreneurship. The Abu Dhabi Global Market entity released the document in July 2026, outlining measurable gains in national talent development and market capabilities. The academy operates as the knowledge arm of ADGM and has focused on equipping professionals and future leaders for a dynamic financial landscape. Its efforts support broader UAE goals for a competitive, knowledge-driven economy.
His Excellency Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, chairman of the board of ADGM Academy, stated in the report that the academy’s direction follows the vision of UAE leadership. Al Mazrouei noted the emphasis on national talent and world-class capabilities to power economic growth. The chairman’s comments underscored the institution’s role in creating pathways for Emiratis to contribute to key sectors.
The academy opened applications in June 2026 for a national talent initiative that offers 15 international placements with the World Bank Group. This programme forms part of ongoing collaboration with global institutions to provide Emirati professionals with high-level exposure. ADGM Academy has positioned the placements as opportunities to build expertise that returns to benefit the local market.
Separate agreements signed in late 2025 strengthened the academy’s offerings in digital and financial skills. A memorandum with 42 Abu Dhabi targets enhanced digital transformation capabilities among nationals, while a pact with Capital.com advances financial literacy training that begins rollout in 2026. An additional partnership with M42 aims to upskill Emiratis in health technology and related fields, according to announcements from the involved parties.
ADGM Academy joined the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and other entities to graduate the first cohort of a 3D printing entrepreneurs programme in Al Ain. The initiative, celebrated four days before the annual report release, focuses on future-ready entrepreneurial skills for national participants. Such programmes form part of a wider series that includes the Mawaheb Talent Hub to foster innovation among Emirati youth.
The academy’s 2025 activities also hosted gatherings under themes such as Bridging Knowledge and Opportunity, drawing stakeholders to discuss talent pipelines. These events reinforced commitments to national priorities in sectors including finance and technology. ADGM Academy continues to track the long-term placement and impact of trained nationals across Abu Dhabi’s international financial centre.
