The three convoys were prepared at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, before crossing into Gaza to deliver essential relief to Palestinian civilians. They formed part of ongoing land deliveries coordinated with Egyptian and local authorities to ensure the supplies reached those in need. The shipments add to a steady stream of assistance that has continued despite logistical and security challenges in the area.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the convoys carried a range of humanitarian items focused on addressing immediate food, shelter and medical requirements in the enclave. The logistics centre operates as a central hub for sorting, packaging and loading aid onto trucks for regular dispatch. This setup has supported the consistent movement of convoys since the operation began.
A Gulf News compilation of official data from July 2026 placed the total value of UAE assistance under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 at $3.12 billion, equivalent to nearly 46 percent of international aid delivered to Gaza. The assessment noted that more than 126,300 tonnes of supplies had reached the territory by that stage through trucks, flights and ships. The operation launched on November 5, 2023, under the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE medical initiatives tied to the effort include a field hospital inside Gaza and a floating hospital in Al Arish that have collectively treated more than 230,000 patients, The National reported in an August 2026 overview. The mission has also dispatched more than 4,000 tonnes of supplies via 81 airdrops to locations inaccessible by road. These components complement the ground convoys by expanding the reach of humanitarian support.
Five separate convoys delivered 663 tonnes of food and shelter materials in 75 lorries during one recent week, according to a subsequent National dispatch. Such weekly movements illustrate the scale at which the operation maintains its relief pipeline. Coordination through the Al Arish centre remains key to preparing and verifying each shipment.
The specific delivery of 458 tonnes in three convoys aligns with the pattern of prior missions that have seen more than 13,000 trucks enter Gaza overall, Khaleej Times figures show. Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to focus on vulnerable groups facing acute needs amid the extended crisis. Teams at the logistics centre keep preparing follow-on convoys to sustain the flow of assistance.
