The latest convoys comprised 60 trucks that crossed into Gaza after preparation at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, where teams receive, sort and dispatch supplies to ensure they reach those in need. This delivery brings the total number of trucks sent under the operation since its launch to 14,579, carrying a cumulative 138,030 tonnes of humanitarian assistance, according to the Emirates News Agency. The effort forms part of a sustained push to provide essentials to Palestinian civilians facing severe shortages.
UAE authorities said the total value of assistance delivered to Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 had reached $3.12 billion by mid-2026, accounting for nearly 46 percent of all international aid to the territory over the previous two and a half years, Gulf News reported. The comprehensive framework has included medical, food, shelter and other relief dispatched by land, sea and air despite difficult conditions on the ground. Such contributions have helped maintain basic services for residents amid widespread disruption.
The operation has placed particular emphasis on healthcare, with the UAE field hospital in Rafah treating more than 54,000 patients and injured individuals since November 2023. Medical convoys have also delivered 1,903 tonnes of medicines, equipment and supplies to hospitals in cooperation with the World Health Organisation. Two additional medical centres in southern and northern Gaza serve around 4,000 patients monthly while a mobile clinic brings care directly to displaced communities living in tents.
Support for the health sector has extended to the deployment of 33 ambulances and assistance for 33 hospitals across the Strip, along with more than 291 dialysis sessions. The programme has further contributed to a polio vaccination campaign that reached approximately 640,000 children, official figures show. These measures have helped bolster Gaza’s strained healthcare system, where many facilities have been damaged or forced out of service.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues humanitarian efforts to support Gaza residents through regular preparation of new convoys at the Al Arish logistics centre. The integrated process ensures a steady flow of aid despite logistical obstacles, the Emirates News Agency stated. Teams at the centre focus on sorting supplies to match immediate needs for food, water and temporary shelter.
Since the operation began the UAE has conducted 778 relief flights and sent 25 aid ships, supplementing overland deliveries with maritime and aerial routes. The Birds of Goodness initiative has carried out 81 airdrops using 218 aircraft to deliver 4,076 tonnes of food and relief to areas inaccessible by road. This multi-channel approach has allowed assistance to reach isolated communities across the Gaza Strip.
