TRENDS Research & Advisory announced its role as knowledge partner at the Moscow International Book Fair, where it will present hundreds of research publications and organize knowledge-based activities. The center, which opened a physical office in Moscow in October 2024 to forge partnerships with Russian think tanks, views the event as an opportunity to expand scientific exchange. According to TRENDS, the participation aligns with its global expansion plan that targets 17 international offices. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, has emphasized in similar participations that such events strengthen constructive scientific research and community awareness of regional and global topics including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and sustainability.

The Moscow office focuses on geopolitical and economic links between Russia, Eurasia and the Middle East, a scope that will inform the center’s contributions to the book fair. TRENDS data from prior book fair appearances, such as its sixth participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair in 2025, showed the launch of 17 new publications addressing contemporary issues like cyberterrorism and the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood. Similar outputs are expected in Moscow, where the center will engage with international publishers and experts. Public records from TRENDS indicate it has participated in multiple international book fairs, including first-time entries in Kuwait in 2025 that featured over 500 publications.

As knowledge partner, TRENDS will host panel discussions and workshops aimed at fostering intellectual dialogue, building on its track record at events like the Indonesia International Book Fair in 2024 where it sponsored a symposium on GCC-Southeast Asia relations. The center’s Moscow presence has already facilitated events such as the 10th TRENDS Strategic Dialogue in April 2026 on Russia’s role in the Middle East. These activities demonstrate TRENDS’ commitment to bridging research with public engagement. Central Statistical Bureau figures and similar institutional data underscore the growing importance of knowledge partnerships in international cultural exchanges.

TRENDS Research & Advisory, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, maintains a portfolio of more than 500 scientific and knowledge-based titles across strategic fields. Its participation in the Moscow fair continues a pattern seen in other GCC-hosted events, where it has served as research partner and launched indices on topics like the Muslim Brotherhood. The center’s CEO has stated that such platforms enhance social awareness and support a knowledge-based society. Industry assessments from bodies like the PwC Middle East review of regional digital and knowledge transformation highlight the value of these cross-border collaborations.

The book fair appearance marks another step in TRENDS’ strategy to position itself as a trusted research authority, following the establishment of its Russia office to initiate joint projects with local institutions. Previous engagements have included signing distribution agreements and presenting at forums on energy security and Eurasian partnerships. TRENDS has consistently used these platforms to promote balanced scholarly approaches to global developments, according to statements from its distribution and exhibitions department.
