The 11th International Congress of Medical Excellence in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine is set to take place at the Sheikh Rashid Hall of the Dubai World Trade Centre from 24 to 26 September 2026. More than 4500 delegates from 107 nationalities are expected to attend the event which has established itself as the region’s largest dermatology congress since its launch in 2015. The gathering will feature more than 300 scientific lectures and representation from 80 brands as it brings together specialists in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The MEIDAM Congress website detailed that the programme has been restructured to offer deeper exploration of contemporary challenges and innovations across multiple specialty tracks.
A refined scientific framework will cover dedicated tracks in clinical dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, laser and energy-based devices, regenerative medicine, skin of colour, hair disorders and trichoscopy, aesthetic gynecology, plastic surgery, dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology and dermatologic surgery. New for this edition is a thematic pillar on longevity that includes a session on regenerative medicine, longevity and advanced therapeutics chaired by Dr. Abeer AlTeneiji, president of the Emirates Lifestyle and Longevity Medicine Society. The programme incorporates keynote sessions, live masterclasses and clinical workshops delivered by internationally recognised faculty according to the published schedule. This structure aims to deliver a more focused and impactful educational experience for all participants.
Dr. Khaled Al Nuaimi, president of the MEIDAM International Congress, extended a welcome to global professionals in a message on the congress website. “It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 11th International MEIDAM Congress, taking place from 24–26 September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates,” Al Nuaimi said. He noted that the congress continues its commitment to advancing scientific excellence, fostering innovation and nurturing collaboration in the global dermatology community after a decade of leadership in the field.
The emphasis on regenerative medicine and longevity at the congress aligns with expanding demand across the sector. A Grand View Research outlook on the Middle East and Africa aesthetic medicine market found that the MEA market generated 2,606.6 million U.S. dollars in 2024 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 11 percent from 2025 to 2033 reaching 6,603.3 million U.S. dollars. The assessment indicated that the UAE is projected to register the highest CAGR within the region during the forecast period with non-invasive procedures forming the fastest growing segment. This growth trajectory underscores the increasing regional interest in both medical and aesthetic dermatological advancements.
The congress is backed by leading international organisations including the American Academy of Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the International League of Dermatological Societies, the Royal College of Physicians in the UK and the UNHCR. In addition to core sessions a laser and energy-based devices course will be led by Prof. Ashraf Badawi, president of the European Society for Lasers and Energy-Based Devices, along with supporting faculty. Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations remain open to encourage fresh research contributions from attending professionals.
Previous editions have built MEIDAM into a hub for knowledge exchange that combines clinical science, hands-on practice and industry innovation. The 2026 programme will also address multidisciplinary topics on emerging innovations shaping clinical practice in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Attendees will gain access to workshops that provide practical training alongside the theoretical components of the congress according to the organisers.
