Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, inspected Naif Police Station and examined its response time for critical emergencies, which stood at one minute and 35 seconds. The review covered operational readiness and deployment efficiency at the facility in central Dubai. Dubai Police reported the station’s performance during the visit that took place on August 23, 2026.
Dubai Police data places the Naif station’s response time well below the force-wide target of under three minutes for emergency calls. A separate WAM report from October 2023 placed the overall average emergency response time across Dubai Police at two minutes and 24 seconds while the force handled more than 2,200 emergency calls daily. The latest Naif station figure continues a pattern of incremental gains recorded at multiple facilities.
Al Marri assessed equipment, staffing levels and coordination protocols that support rapid dispatch from the station. Comparable results have appeared at other locations, with Al Muraqqabat Police Station posting a one-minute-38-second response time and a 98.9 percent safety coverage rate in 2025, Gulf News reported. Khaleej Times noted that Al Rafa’a Police Station achieved one minute and nine seconds in an earlier evaluation.
The force has introduced smart police stations and drone-assisted deployment to compress response intervals, building on a 2022 initiative that sought to cut some arrival times from four minutes and 40 seconds to one minute. An Instagram post from Dubai Police in April 2026 indicated the force maintained an average response under seven minutes alongside 98.8 percent patrol coverage. Public safety metrics have remained high as these systems expand.
Times of India reporting on Dubai Police search-and-rescue operations showed average land-incident response time improved to 5.8 minutes in the first 10 months of 2025, beating the 6.6-minute target and improving from 6.2 minutes the prior year. The agency said the teams completed more than 5,200 missions during that period. Such advances complement the station-level emergency call handling tracked at Naif and elsewhere.
Dubai Police continues to compile real-time performance data across all stations to identify further efficiencies. The Naif station inspection forms part of routine command reviews that track progress against annual benchmarks. Figures from these assessments feed into broader planning for the force’s public safety strategy.
