The Dubai Women Establishment announced partners for the second edition of the Emirati Women’s Forum, which will convene senior officials, decision-makers and leaders from government, semi-government and private entities on August 27 at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai. The gathering falls under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Gender Balance Council and President of the Dubai Women Establishment, and coincides with national observances of Emirati Women’s Day themed ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’. According to the announcement distributed by the Dubai Media Office, the forum will feature panel discussions and workshops that highlight Emirati women’s contributions to development while exploring ways to expand their roles in future-oriented fields.
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority serves as strategic partner while Dubai Culture and Arts Authority takes the cultural partner role, the Establishment’s announcement stated. Key partners include the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality and DIB, with Dubai Media Incorporated acting as media partner. Supporting partners are the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and the Dubai Business Women Council, joined by Hills Advertising as the advertising partner, according to the same announcement.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Managing Director and Chairperson of the Dubai Women Establishment, said in the announcement that the diversity of supporting organisations demonstrates a shared commitment to investing in national talent. “Expanding women’s participation and ensuring equal opportunities are essential to sustaining the UAE’s achievements and strengthening its global competitiveness,” Al Marri stated. The chairperson added that the partnerships will reinforce the forum’s position as a national platform for sharing expertise and advancing women’s contributions to family, society and the economy.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer of DEWA noted that Emirati women have played a pivotal role in the UAE’s development since the establishment of the Union, according to the announcement. Al Tayer emphasised DEWA’s commitment to strengthening women’s participation in leadership positions during the Year of the Family. Similar sentiments came from His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer of the Roads and Transport Authority, who highlighted women’s growing prominence in leadership and decision-making across sectors including engineering, technology and sustainability.
The forum builds on the inaugural 2025 edition, which the Dubai Media Office reported drew nearly 700 executive leaders and featured ten panel discussions on women’s empowerment. It aligns with the UAE’s National Policy for Empowerment of Emirati Women 2023–2031, a framework the Dubai Women Establishment has integrated into its 2023–2027 strategic plan focused on workforce enablement, female leadership advancement and improved quality of life. Her Excellency Hala Badri of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority said the partnership reflects commitments to empowering women in the cultural sector and developing creative industries while preserving national identity.
Registration for the event remains open through the dedicated portal at ewf2026.evsreg.com, the announcement indicated. Dr. Adnan Chilwan of DIB described the forum as supporting objectives to measure women’s empowerment by available professional pathways and leadership opportunities. Her Excellency Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg of the Dubai Business Women Council added that collaboration among national institutions remains essential to building on progress and enabling new generations of Emirati women to shape a competitive economy.
