The Emirates News Agency reported that five UAE aid convoys entered the Gaza Strip, comprising 62 trucks loaded with 980 tonnes of relief materials. These supplies encompassed food aid, shelter items, medical provisions and associated equipment prepared by specialist teams at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Center in Al-Arish, Egypt. The convoys represent the latest installment in coordinated cross-border deliveries intended to address immediate civilian requirements amid ongoing regional conditions.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 launched on November 5, 2023, under direct instructions from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command oversees the campaign in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and additional local entities. This structure has facilitated sustained humanitarian transport despite persistent access and distribution obstacles in the area.

Gulf Today figures marking 1,000 days of the operation on August 2, 2026, place the total value of UAE assistance above $3.89 billion. More than 126,000 tonnes of relief, medical and food aid have reached beneficiaries through over 770 flights, 25 maritime shipments and in excess of 13,000 truck deliveries. The campaign has incorporated longer-term projects focused on food security, water provision, healthcare improvement and educational support.

Field hospitals operated under the initiative have provided treatment to more than 230,000 patients inside Gaza and at affiliated facilities. A floating hospital stationed in Al-Arish includes 100 beds together with dedicated surgical theatres, an intensive care section, radiology capabilities, laboratory services and an on-site pharmacy. Dozens of individuals requiring advanced care have additionally been transferred from Gaza for treatment outside the territory.

The Palestine News Agency placed the overall death toll linked to the Gaza conflict at 73,246 with 173,727 people injured since October 7, 2023. Separate tallies from the agency indicate at least 1,123 killed and 3,616 wounded since a US-sponsored peace framework was agreed in October of last year. That agreement sought a lasting ceasefire and the launch of reconstruction activities but has encountered significant delays.

The UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Center in Al-Arish functions as the primary preparation and staging point for convoy contents bound for Gaza. Recent medical shipments have included specialised equipment to reinforce local treatment capacity facing continued pressure. Coordination with Egyptian authorities has remained central to the successful movement of these successive aid deliveries.
