The Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation contributed to the dispatch of an urgent humanitarian aid aircraft carrying 100 tons of food supplies and infant formula to the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, WAM reported on June 16, 2026. The 100-tonne aid aircraft departs Ras Al Khaimah Airport for Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, according to the official announcement. The aircraft was bound for Al Arish City in Egypt in preparation for the delivery of its cargo into the Gaza Strip. This contribution comes under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has delivered substantial assistance to the Palestinian people since its launch. A Dubai Eye 103.8 report from March 2025 placed the total at more than 65,000 tonnes of aid valued at over AED 4.4 billion after 500 days of continuous support. The UAE has maintained the operation throughout 2026 with both airlifts and truck convoys. The humanitarian team based in Al Arish prepares and loads the supplies for transfer across the border.

Gulf News reported that four aid convoys entered Gaza during the first week of July carrying 416 tonnes of relief supplies in 47 trucks. The shipments included food parcels along with shelter materials to help residents. A further five convoys delivered 792 tonnes in the same period, according to Instagram posts by UAE Forsan. These recent deliveries build on the air bridge efforts such as the Ras Al Khaimah flight.

The Emirates Red Crescent plays a central role in the logistics of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. An ERC delegation visited the Al Arish centre in early July 2026 to review operations, a UAE Forsan Facebook post stated. The visit followed an allocation of AED 36.7 million to support the humanitarian and relief efforts. Ahmed Sari Mazrouei led the delegation as Secretary-General of the authority.

Similar aid flights have left from Sharjah International Airport in preceding months with comparable cargo loads. WAM has documented multiple such departures aimed at meeting urgent needs in Gaza. The consistent pattern of shipments demonstrates the UAE’s structured approach to providing relief. Coordination with Egyptian counterparts remains essential for the final leg of delivery into the Strip.

Public updates on the operation appear regularly through official channels and news agencies. These communications outline the types of supplies sent and the mechanisms used for distribution. The focus remains on food, medical and shelter items that address core requirements for the affected population.
