Under the framework established last year, 7X will provide access to its extensive network of service branches and logistics centres through its NXN platform and EMX arm while UAEV supplies the core charging technology and operational expertise. The companies said the collaboration will facilitate not only standard charging but also exploration of value-added features such as parcel locker integration and smart mobility applications at the stations. This approach aims to enhance customer convenience and reinforce the overall effectiveness of the national EV infrastructure as demand for electric commercial vehicles continues to increase. The partnership was positioned as a practical step toward meeting the requirements of a growing logistics sector that increasingly incorporates environmentally friendly vehicle options.
UAEV is identified in the statement as the first electric vehicle charging network fully owned by the government of the United Arab Emirates and plays a central role in executing the UAE’s broader sustainability objectives. The initial six sites form part of a longer-term plan that the companies indicated could scale to support thousands of charging points by the end of the decade in coordination with national targets.
