According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office the programme teaches wrestling fundamentals and more advanced techniques alongside drills games conditioning exercises and friendly matches while emphasising personal qualities such as patience and discipline. The structure aims to help participants develop physical strength and self-confidence within a supportive setting that blends sport with recreational elements. This approach forms part of the federation’s wider initiative to expand access to wrestling at the grassroots level across the UAE.
A report by Emirates Times placed participation in the third UAE Wrestling Federation Cup held at Mubadala Arena in May 2026 at more than 160 athletes from 14 clubs and academies competing in under-13 and under-17 categories. The summer camp serves as an introductory platform for even younger children who may progress toward such organised competitions in future seasons.
