Abu Dhabi Awards honoured seven schools during a virtual ceremony for their exceptional promotion of the values of goodness, giving and appreciation among students in the 2025-2026 Schools Competition. The initiative, launched at the start of the academic year in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, generated more than 15,000 nominations from 50 schools nationwide, more than double the submissions from the prior edition according to the organising committee. Recognised schools achieved nomination totals exceeding 100 percent of their student numbers through sustained activities that encouraged community engagement and social responsibility.
The awards body listed the honoured schools as Rawdat Al Musk, Zayed Educational Complex in Mohammed Bin Zayed City and Juwairiya Bint Al Harith among the highest participants, with Al Qariah School, City Private School in Ajman, Al Madar International School in Al Ain and Mezyad School also recognised for strong engagement. These institutions hosted events, discussion sessions, school radio broadcasts and interactive programmes aligned with key occasions throughout the year. The Ministry of Education noted that such participation reflects its commitment to embedding national values and identity within the education system.
Amal Al Ameri, Member of the Organising Committee for the Abu Dhabi Awards, said, “This initiative, organised by the Abu Dhabi Awards in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering younger generations and reinforcing the values of giving and appreciation among students.” She added that engaging students in these efforts encourages positive community participation, strengthens social responsibility and contributes to a more connected and compassionate society across the UAE. The competition additionally supported development of critical thinking and decision-making skills among participants.

This recognition forms part of ongoing efforts to highlight individuals who contribute selflessly to society. Organisers commended the year-long work that translated into elevated nomination figures from the honoured schools.
