PureHealth said in a statement that the expansion includes the opening of a flagship community clinic on Saadiyat Island and the extension of 24-hour services at 12 primary care centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The Saadiyat facility offers specialties including family medicine, paediatrics, dermatology, women’s health, diagnostics and physiotherapy while operating seven days a week from 10am to 6pm. The company added that the changes form part of a broader strategy to deliver preventive and patient-centric care closer to residential areas. SEHA CLINICS employs over 800 physicians across 35 clinics in the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regions according to PureHealth figures. The network served more than 3.5 million patients in 2024 with further growth recorded in subsequent periods as demand for accessible services increased. These developments enable larger hospitals to concentrate on complex cases while primary care handles routine and preventive needs.
Rashed Al Qubaisi, Group Chief Operating Officer of PureHealth, said in the statement, “With the support of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), and in line with PureHealth’s mission, we are witnessing a milestone that reflects SEHA CLINICS’ dedication to providing patient-centred services that meet the diverse needs of the community.” The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi collaborated on the initiative which prepares selected centres to introduce urgent care services in the second quarter of 2026. Centres in Mazyad and Sweihan already provide round-the-clock urgent care while ten others across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi have extended their hours.
PureHealth reported net profit of AED 1.2 billion in the first half of 2026 with UAE care revenue reaching AED 5.8 billion according to the group’s financial results. Outpatient volumes rose 7 percent year on year and inpatient volumes increased 10 percent during the period as the network expanded capacity. The group’s overall network includes more than 316 clinics alongside hospitals and diagnostic facilities.
Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, stated that the rebranding of ambulatory services to SEHA CLINICS aligns with the UAE’s Year of Community focus on wellbeing. The clinics prioritise preventive programmes, community screenings and wellness initiatives beyond treating illness. This model aims to reduce chronic disease impact and support long-term population health.
The expansion aligns with PureHealth’s H1 2026 operational growth which saw bed occupancy reach 75 percent across its UAE hospitals. Further clinic openings are planned to address needs in underserved areas as the emirate’s population expands. SEHA CLINICS integration into the SEHA subsidiary has streamlined access to coordinated care across the primary network.
