The Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed the agreement with Healthpoint to elevate the quality of healthcare provided to its workforce and dependents while fostering a supportive environment, according to a statement from the ministry. Under the memorandum, Healthpoint will deliver exclusive benefits that include priority appointment booking with the possibility of bypassing waiting lists and access to additional specialized medical consultations, particularly for surgeries. The pact also covers alternative treatment plans and supportive care options as part of an integrated approach focused on prevention and early intervention. The ministry’s statement listed these elements as key to addressing evolving staff needs and ensuring continuity of care.

A 15 percent discount on outpatient and inpatient services not covered by health insurance forms another pillar of the arrangement, the ministry reported, alongside regular updates on Healthpoint’s services and offerings. The partnership extends to organizing health-focused events such as specialized medical screenings and virtual workshops on public health and healthy lifestyle practices that coincide with global observances. These activities aim to promote proactive wellness measures across the ministry’s community of employees and family members.

Dr. Ali Anees, Chief Operating Officer for UAE and Bahrain of M42’s Global Patient Care platform, commented on the agreement in the ministry’s announcement. “This collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reflects a shared vision to advance the delivery of specialized healthcare,” he said. “At Healthpoint, we are committed to enabling seamless access to world-class, patient-centered care supported by multidisciplinary expertise and advanced medical capabilities.” Anees added that the partnership creates a platform for innovation with emphasis on preventive, personalized and integrated solutions.

The initiative aligns with M42’s record in advancing preventive healthcare, including its support for more than 110,000 hypertension screenings during the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s 2025 national campaign. That effort helped shift focus toward early detection and data-driven planning to lower risks of cardiovascular disease, the Ministry of Health and Prevention reported. Such contributions reinforce national targets to cut premature deaths from non-communicable diseases by 30 percent by 2030.

M42 operates the Emirati Genome Programme, which has built one of the world’s largest genomics centers outside the United States with capacity to sequence up to 400,000 genomes a year, according to company assessments. The group runs more than 480 healthcare facilities across 27 countries and serves around 15 million patients annually through its integrated platforms. These capabilities have supported international collaborations that extend preventive models to other nations pursuing similar health transformations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the agreement with Healthpoint complements its ongoing work to integrate advanced care options while maintaining high standards in employee welfare programs. Similar partnerships have enabled government entities to address both immediate medical needs and long-term wellness objectives through coordinated public and private sector efforts.
