Emirates has crafted an iconic Arsenal emblem from A380 and Boeing 777 parts as part of celebrations for the club’s success, according to the carrier’s announcement. The bespoke creation was completed in-house by the Emirates Engineering team in Dubai and forms part of a special aircraft livery dedicated to Arsenal. The design incorporates the club crest prominently displayed above gold lettering that reads ‘Champions’ to mark the squad’s achievements during the 2025-26 season. This initiative highlights the depth of the airline’s involvement with the team.
The livery stretches across the A380 from the tail fin flag to the middle of the fuselage, the company said in a statement. It features images of four first-team players including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and Viktor Gyökeres. Application of the decal was carried out entirely by Emirates staff without external contractors. The project builds on earlier collaborations that included branded Boeing 777 aircraft.
Emirates first partnered with Arsenal in 2004 as the club’s official airline partner, according to company historical records. The relationship has since expanded to include shirt sponsorship and numerous joint promotional activities that connect fans across the globe. The latest tribute coincides with Arsenal’s Premier League triumph, which ended a long wait for the title. The engineering team completed the work in a dedicated facility at Dubai World Central.
A timelapse video released by the airline shows the transformation process from initial preparation to final reveal, Emirates reported. The aircraft will operate on various international routes, giving fans worldwide an opportunity to view the special design. Similar past projects have generated significant engagement on social media platforms. The current livery reflects ongoing efforts to merge aviation with sporting excellence.
Regional interest in English football remains high in the UAE and broader Gulf area, industry observers have noted in various reports. Emirates has leveraged its sponsorship to enhance brand visibility among millions of supporters. The club maintains a strong following in Dubai and Abu Dhabi where match screenings and fan events draw large crowds. This latest project adds another layer to the established ties.
The unveiling follows a pattern of creative tributes that have included previous aircraft branding exercises, the airline stated. Officials expressed pride in the technical execution that required precise coordination among engineering specialists. Future activations tied to the partnership are expected to include further fan-focused activities at stadiums and airports. The emblem stands as a tangible symbol of the collaboration’s success.
