According to the International Property Show, the Dubai Land Department will highlight its latest initiatives, real estate services and opportunities at stand B-07 during the exhibition. The three-day event at the Dubai World Trade Centre is expected to attract investors, developers and industry leaders from across the globe. Organizers have encouraged registration for the show to explore the dynamic UAE real estate sector.
Dubai Land Department data places the value of completed property projects in the first half of 2026 at more than 111 billion dirhams across 104 developments. This marks a substantial rise from the corresponding period in 2025, when 75 projects worth 73 billion dirhams were completed. New residential units handed over increased by 36 per cent to 24,537 while the built-up area ready for occupancy grew to 1.95 million square metres.
The department secured the gold category in the Global AI Award 2025 for its work integrating artificial intelligence into real estate operations, Dubai Land Department officials said. Director General Omar Hamad BuShehab accepted the award at a ceremony patronized by senior members of the ruling family. Such recognition highlights ongoing investments in smart solutions that support the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.
A pilot project for real estate tokenisation on title deeds entered its second phase this year, enabling resale of about 7.8 million tokens in a regulated secondary market, according to the department. Projections indicate the tokenized market could reach 60 billion dirhams by 2033, representing around 7 per cent of Dubai’s real estate transactions. The initiative positions Dubai as a regional leader in property technology innovation.
The International Property Show’s 22nd edition operates under the theme of driving real estate investment through innovation and features a conference program with specialized sessions, a statement from the organizers said. Discussions will address sustainable urban development, digital tools for asset management and the integration of technology in large-scale projects. The gathering also includes hubs for developers, investors and financing opportunities.
Participation by the Dubai Land Department aligns with the launch of the Dubai PropTech Hub and multiple agreements signed with developers to promote first-time home ownership and technological advancement. These steps form part of wider efforts to meet targets under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, including raising the homeownership rate to 33 per cent. The authority continues to expand its digital ecosystem to enhance transparency and efficiency in the property market.
