The Emirates News Agency reported that eligible creators from the Creators HQ network will receive comprehensive end-to-end support leveraging Amazon’s infrastructure, seller tools and global retail expertise. Participants will have the chance to build dedicated storefronts on Amazon.ae and utilise Amazon Ads credits to boost visibility and drive customer reach. The programme also facilitates international expansion for those selling on the UAE platform through Amazon’s global selling registration, connecting them to hundreds of millions of customers across multiple markets.
Education and mentorship form a core component, spanning product ideation, online retail fundamentals, digital marketing, customer acquisition strategies and brand building, according to details released by the partners. Opportunities in gaming and entertainment commerce will likewise be explored to help creators diversify their offerings. Applications are being accepted from suitable candidates within the Creators HQ ecosystem as the programme targets the shift from content monetisation toward full entrepreneurship.
Arabian Business reported that the initiative was initially unveiled during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit held in Dubai in January under the theme “Content for Good.” The summit organised by the UAE Government Media Office drew more than 15,000 content creators and influencers together with over 500 speakers representing a combined global audience of 3.5 billion followers. Alia Al Hammadi, vice chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and chief executive officer of the summit, said the UAE has positioned itself as a global destination for the creator economy.
“The UAE has established itself as a global destination for the creator economy, and initiatives such as Amazon Creators Foundry demonstrate how this vision is being translated into tangible opportunities for digital entrepreneurs,” Alia Al Hammadi said. Rayan Karaky, managing director of Amazon Ads for EMEA and Southeast Asia, described the current evolution of the sector in remarks carried by multiple outlets. “The creator economy is entering a transformative phase where influence meets innovation,” he said.
“Creators understand their audiences better than anyonethey know what truly resonates, what is missing, and what their communities want,” Karaky added. The programme aligns with the UAE’s 150 million dirham Content Creators Support Fund that backs efforts to industrialise the digital and creative economy, a Handle.ae analysis found. This support infrastructure aims to convert audience trust into ownership of products, customer data and distribution channels.
Creators HQ, the Middle East’s first dedicated hub for content creators, has now opened the application window to identify participants who can translate community insights into commercial offerings on Amazon.ae. The foundry represents one of several platform partnerships the hub has established to foster long-term creator growth beyond traditional influence models. Further information on eligibility and submission requirements is available directly through the Creators HQ network.
