Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Group and Al Ramz Capital announced the winners of the third round of the Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition according to a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency. The initiative which launched earlier in 2026 aims to boost financial literacy among participants by simulating real market trading conditions with prizes awarded based on time-weighted returns rather than absolute portfolio size. Round three which ran through July drew participants who managed virtual portfolios on the ADX platform under equal access to market data and insights the exchange reported.
First place in the third round went to a trader who achieved the highest one-month performance according to ADX and Al Ramz Capital data with the winner receiving one million Etihad Guest Miles. Second place earned 500000 miles while third place received 250000 miles the partners stated in their joint announcement. The competition forms part of ongoing efforts to promote long-term investment culture in line with UAE national priorities including the Year of Family 2026 a WAM report noted.
ADX which operates as a leading market infrastructure provider in the region has partnered with Al Ramz Capital a licensed brokerage to deliver the program the entities said. Previous rounds saw similar structures with round two winners including Omar Alhadhrami in first place at 9.1 percent return followed by Abdallah Alashkar and Ismail Hussein according to earlier ADX disclosures. The third round builds on that momentum by maintaining the focus on educational outcomes and practical trading skills the statement added.
Prizes in the form of Etihad Guest Miles allow winners to redeem travel benefits including flights to destinations such as New York and London Al Ramz Capital indicated. The competition measures performance using standardized metrics to ensure fairness across all entrants regardless of starting capital the organizers explained. Participation has grown with each round reflecting increased interest in structured investment learning platforms across the UAE.
Al Ramz Capital which provides brokerage and investment services through ADX described the program as a key pillar in its investor education strategy. The brokerage noted that the initiative equips participants with knowledge of market dynamics risk management and strategic planning. Further rounds are expected to continue the series with details to be released on the official ADX and Al Ramz platforms in coming weeks.
