All AI-generated outputs will undergo complete human supervision and validation to maintain the integrity of decisions, the department said.
A press release distributed via Zawya on July 27, 2026 reported that the meetings focused on translating the AI judicial platform vision into concrete execution plans for Abu Dhabi’s court system. The initiative will support judicial and legal decision-making through artificial intelligence while preserving human oversight at every stage. This project extends the department’s prior automation of multiple services that already run without any human intervention.
The ADJD’s review of future projects detailed how it has automated a wide range of judicial and notary services that operate fully automatically. These include processing requests submitted to the Public Prosecution and criminal courts as well as issuing orders to lift search notices, cancel travel bans and cancel arrest warrants immediately upon payment of fines. The systems also automatically process court and enforcement requests while canceling restrictions from enforcement files once payments are completed.
According to the department’s assessment, automated procedures further cover all tenancy-related requests for opening enforcement files and enable the automatic disbursement of funds to enforcement applicants. These existing capabilities have helped save time and accelerate procedures across the judicial and notary sectors. The ADJD has established itself as a regional leader in applying AI and machine learning to the justice sector, Gulf Times reported.
