The Emirates News Agency reported that Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi used the 45th anniversary of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi’s rule to stress how the leader placed service to citizens at the centre of governance. The Crown Prince described this approach as one that has created lasting trust in people’s lives and made responsibility a defining feature of Ajman’s institutions. He added that the anniversary recalls a method in which development was inseparable from residents’ requirements and stability. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi noted that the Ruler remained close to the people, listening to their concerns and ensuring development reached every part of the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi explained that the Ruler’s philosophy taught that responsibility is measured by its real impact rather than decisions alone. He said government institutions achieve their purpose when residents feel the quality of services provided. The Crown Prince emphasised that genuine progress is what eases daily life, expands opportunities for children and strengthens the emirate’s capacity to advance. These principles have guided Ajman’s transformation since Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi assumed power in 1981.

Ajman Vision 2030, launched by the Crown Prince in 2024, builds on this legacy with targets to expand cultural and sports programmes by 400 percent while the youth segment forms 36 percent of residents, a WAM compilation from April 2026 showed. The plan also seeks to triple public beach areas and launch major logistics projects to double trade capacity. Such initiatives reflect the long-standing focus on inclusive growth that has defined the Ruler’s tenure.

Figures from the Ajman Statistics Centre placed live births at 1,744 during the third quarter of 2025, with 1,991 new business licences issued and 5,025 museum visitors recorded in the same period. United Nations data estimate the emirate’s current population near 505,000, a sharp rise that demonstrates sustained progress in living standards and economic opportunity. The Ajman Free Zone has drawn more than 7,400 companies and factories under policies that prioritise sustainable investment, according to earlier Emirates News Agency accounts of the emirate’s record.

Higher education has expanded markedly with institutions such as Ajman University and Gulf Medical University now operating, an achievement that earned the Ruler honorary doctorates from the University of Bedfordshire in 2009 and the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2011, WAM noted. Recent infrastructure reviews led by the Crown Prince have advanced drainage networks, roads and bridges to support continued expansion while promoting environmental sustainability. These projects align with national goals and the emirate’s Smart City 2030 aspirations.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi affirmed that the Ruler’s directives have produced notable gains in economic, social, health and educational sectors while maintaining a clear path toward future sustainable development. The Crown Prince highlighted how government services have been continuously improved to deliver security, safety and stability for all who live in Ajman. This commitment has positioned the emirate as a competitive destination that balances tradition with modern advancement.
