The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre has named the Emirates Arabian Horse Society as the equestrian sector partner for the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition. The society will operate an integrated pavilion displaying equestrian supplies, nutrition products, handmade saddles, an Arabian horse drawing platform and the Tshouleeb team from the Abu Dhabi Police Cavalry. An interactive equestrian club will allow visitors to engage directly with the heritage and practices surrounding purebred Arabian horses.

According to event organisers, workshops will address horse registration and documentation alongside introductions to the society’s website and smart application. Dedicated sessions will demonstrate traditional Ma’arqa saddle-making techniques. The exhibition runs from August 28 to September 6 at the ADNEC venue in Abu Dhabi.

Competitions during the event will include the third edition of the Emirati Handler Competition and a Tshouleeb Competition that revives an ancient Emirati art form with accompanying poetry. An Arabic Calligraphy Competition will feature verses from a poem by Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed while the Mazyoon Al Awsaf Award will recognise the best authentic Arabic names for horses. Liberty shows, horse training demonstrations and Tshouleeb Team performances will add to the programme.

A WAM report from May 2025 stated that the Emirates Arabian Horse Society launched its smart application to deliver more than 20 core services to horse owners and breeders. The platform, available on Android and Apple devices, enables users to issue digital certificates, register local and imported horses, access studbook records and handle event participation in real time. The application will be featured at the pavilion to illustrate ongoing digital modernisation within the sector.

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi said, “EAHS views ADIHEX as unique intl platform to elevate profile of Arabian horses demonstrating their beauty, heritage and highlights role in Emirati culture and identity.” He added that EAHS participation aligns with directives of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and reflects commitment to equestrianism and preservation of purebred Arabian horses. The remarks came in the context of the society’s expanded role at the exhibition.

Saad Al-Hasani noted that ADIHEX is proud to have the Emirates Arabian Horse Society as its official partner. This arrangement enhances the presence of purebred Arabian horses throughout the event and enriches the visitor experience by showcasing the beauty of Arabian equestrianism. The exhibition has established itself as a leading annual gathering for enthusiasts of hunting, equestrian activities and cultural heritage across the region and beyond.
