The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will stage the International Real Estate and Investment Show over three days in September 2026, bringing together developers, investors and property professionals from across the UAE and abroad. Organisers approved by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi positioned the gathering as the emirate’s premier property event focused on concluding sales and forging partnerships rather than general exhibition activity. The timing aligns with sustained expansion in the sector that has drawn increasing attention from both local and international buyers seeking opportunities in residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre figures show real estate transaction values climbed 76.6 percent to Dh203.01 billion in the 12 months ending June 30 2026 while the number of deals rose 64.53 percent to 53,177. Sales in the first half of 2026 reached Dh88.25 billion, already approaching the full-year total of Dh93.34 billion recorded for 2025. Half-year transaction value stood at Dh121.90 billion, underscoring the momentum that organisers say will be highlighted during the forthcoming show.
Arun Bose, a representative of the event organisers, said in a statement that IREIS has grown into far more than an exhibition it is the UAE’s real estate marketplace where developers meet serious investors and property transactions are concluded. Bose added that Abu Dhabi investors are actively investing in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and other emerging markets while developers from across the Emirates recognise the capital as one of the country’s most important investment destinations. The executive noted that IREIS 2026 will bring these opportunities together under one roof creating an unmatched platform for sales, investment and strategic partnerships.
The show will feature a high-level conference examining the future of real estate investment alongside exhibition space dedicated to projects spanning multiple emirates. Organisers expect thousands of visitors including institutional buyers and homebuyers to attend the event which builds on the success of the 2025 edition in reflecting national real estate momentum. Dome Exhibitions is organising the gathering as a results-driven marketplace designed to convert interest into completed deals.
Event planners indicated that further details on exhibitors, conference programmes, investment forums and visitor registration would be released in the coming weeks. The initiative supports the UAE’s broader objective of attracting global capital and advancing economic diversification beyond oil according to statements from the organisers. Abu Dhabi’s property sector has benefited from regulatory improvements and infrastructure development that have enhanced its appeal relative to other regional hubs.
Previous iterations of the show have demonstrated its capacity to connect supply and demand across the country while spotlighting emerging trends such as fractional ownership and PropTech applications. The 2026 edition arrives as authorities continue to promote the capital’s investment climate through targeted incentives and streamlined processes for foreign participants. Data from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre confirm that both transaction volumes and values have maintained upward trajectories throughout the first half of the year reinforcing the decision to host the event in September.
