Gulf News reported in April 2023 that the foundation had granted over 6,000 wishes by that point. The additional 515 wishes from the first half of 2026 add to the cumulative total. The group continues its operations in the country.
A Make-A-Wish annual report found that the global organization granted 16,295 wishes in fiscal year 2024. That figure marked a historic milestone as the highest annual total in the group’s 45-year history. The report noted it was the second consecutive year surpassing 16,000 wishes granted.
